A must-have for summer entertaining, this propane-gas grill provides a 507-square-inch primary cooking area and a 130-square-inch warming rack for a total of 637 square inches of cooking space. The unit's three, main, stainless-steel burners and 42,800-BTU-per-hour input make it easy to cook-up everything from steaks, pork chops, chicken, and fish to veggie burgers, shish-kabobs, and slices of fresh pineapple. Its 12,000-BTU flush-mounted side burner works great for simmering a sauce to slather on later. The grill also supplies porcelain-enameled, cast-iron cooking grates that effectively retain heat and create delicious sear marks; porcelain-enameled Flavorizer bars to help ensure excellent results and reduced flare-ups; and an Electronic Crossover ignition system for ease of use. Beautifully designed, the gas grill features a porcelain-enameled shroud with a center-mounted thermometer and accent-colored painted cast-aluminum end caps; an accent-colored painted steel frame; and an enclosed cart with corresponding painted-steel doors, stainless-steel handles, and accent-colored painted side and rear panels. The enclosed cart houses the propane tank (not included), keeping it easily accessible but nicely hidden. Other highlights include two stainless-steel work areas, six tool holders, and four heavy-duty casters--two front locking and two back swivel--for smooth mobility. Not sure what to grill first? This is a unit of quality. One might say that Weber did not take shortcuts in the way they made this product. My husband and son put together this barbecue themselves. All parts needed for asseble this grid was in the box. The instructions are easy to follow and logical. We have used the element of cooking side-still will probably never get much use of this but since this model came with free shipping and the E310 does not have, (the model we wanted) this barbecue was be less expensive. We have only used this barbecue a couple of times, as we just obtained, but already it is much better than our old Arkla grill. Flare ups are so easy to extinquish and it happens far less often. We recommend this to anyone Weber. Customer service could not have gone better and Weber was quick to send me the user manual that was in our box. They want everything to be perfect and you know they are there to help. No mention of a computer, but is a real person who has a smile in his voice, and who sincerely wants the consumer to be happy with their purchase. The company is proud of their employees and employees are proud of their company manufactures products. I would recommend to anyone Weber.
