When I received my Zojirushi NS-TGC10 5-1/2-cup Micom Rice Cooker and warmer Stainles steel was like night and day between Zoujirushi and my old cooker rice. The rice comes out in a uniform manner, every single time. I eat rice almost every day and every time it turns out the same. I have not had time to cook brown rice, but sometimes I'll try soon. Costs more than I wanted, but you get what you pay, and worth every penny. I got my rice cooker to last almost ten years and I know that my Zoujirushi will last so easily.
It 'easy to use, easy to clean and easy on the eyes. I never had time to sit and watch or stir my food. I wanted a simple way to cook rice. Set for the desired time and eat when it's done. Works great for oatmeal with just a little 'experiment with the kind of oatmeal is about to be eaten. I do not bother with the stoves more convenient because the rice cooker appliances tend to be just that. I am not rich, but I did not choose to skimp on this, such as rice may be enough problems for those of us who do not have the ability.
Great works. Nice marks for water for several Risi. Musical tone is a little annoying, but my dogs love it so I have not changed the tone alternative (who woulda guessed?). He feared that would manage rice properly, but does so very well. After losing a pot of rice in a move, we bought a good off-brand model. It produced rice, but consistency was not good and it tends to produce a piece inlaid at the bottom, sometimes the addition of a taste for rice. It would be good for the Persian-style rice, but it was not what we wanted. Finally ditched that one and we are very satisfied with the rice it produces. Also, good texture, right.
