The PetSafe Wireless Fence pet containment system is a revolutionary concept that provides the safest, simplest form of pet containment ever. Plug in the transmitter somewhere inconspicuous in your home. The transmitter emits a 17.5 kHz radio signal around your home. After much research, we are very happy that we chose this product over the traditional in-ground fencing! Without bothering to remove any thread when we aerate the lawn or do our landscape ... It 'very flexible, affordable solution and it works great for our very feisty 2-year-old Schnauzer mix. We keep the collar to the lowest setting adjustments and to tell the truth, then that probably does not need the correction - just heard the audible warning is enough for him. He turns around and quickly approaching the house when she hears the beep. It took only one or two days for him to understand its boundaries. At first it was a little 'afraid to go out to everyone, but in less than a week was happily playing outside the area, "pet" of the yard. Only drawback of this product is that there is no place "safe harbor" where you can leave the area moved from the company. (So we just take the receiver collar off and put on our dog's collar regularly when you want to take him out of the yard for a walk on a leash.) Highly recommend this product.

I have done much research on this product after it was recommended to me. We are just thrilled by how easy it was. I have two young terrier that would bolt out of the yard happily chasing squirrels, neighbors, etc. We have a great game and a part of it is forested. We did not want to bury a wire. Although we did not want to worry about what brings the dogs were left outside. In two days, the dogs understood the fencing. I tested the shock on me with the lowest setting to make sure that it would not hurt my dogs, and it was not painful ... just a feeling uncomfortable. So far, my only complaint is that occasionally, when they are off the collars of the dogs and hung in the house, which emits a beep on their own. This scares the dogs, understandably! I highly recommend this containment system. Gave my dogs freedom to run and play. It 'a really great product.
